*We started with discussing important happenings in last one month and news updates those are relevant to us. Tanvi leads the discussion. This was an experimental session included this time, I think we should continue this activity, perhaps some more preparation is required.

*Rameez held a session on the importance of documentation. For fifteen minutes we talked about what we expect from a good blog post:
*it needs to be easy to understand
*well structured
*easily accessible (eg RSS feeds, not just through the website)
*should be well concluded - there should be a call to action.

*We then had a hands-on session where 4 groups wrote a draft for a blog post on a topic of their choice:

== Tentative activity plan for this month ==

*Hassan Regional Camp to happen this month end, looking for volunteers - https://discuss.fsmk.org/t/regional-camp-2k17-hassan
*FSMK to conduct at least one workshop on internet shutdown, dates, and venues yet to be finalized, most probably one at National Law School campus. We also need to coordinate with SFLC regarding this - http://internetshutdowns.in/
*We spoke about a Govt. of Karnataka initiative that aims to run Computer Education with Free Software. The Azim Premji Foundation who is in charge of content preparation approached FSMK to help with troubleshooting issues that teachers might run into while using Linux-based systems. We have to identify resource persons from outside to support this activity
*After lunch, we helped consolidate localization data we collected during Open Day 2017. Rahul Kondi, Shreya, and few others to come up with a plan for localization activities.
*Akshay Gudi has come up with a plan for PESCE Mandya, he is going to coordinate activity in PESCE GLUG
*Upgrade FSMK website
